Could more SEC games mean no in-state rivalries?

Dan Wetzel of ESPN, author of “Death to the BCS”, thinks that in-state rivalry games played annually between the SEC and ACC could be in peril if the SEC moves to nine conference games and decides to link up with the Big Ten for an annual SEC/Big Ten Challenge weekend.

Could we really see Georgia and Georgia Tech, Florida and Florida State, Clemson and South Carolina and Kentucky and Louisville stop playing one another on an annual basis? Would Kentucky fans be happy not playing Indiana and playing Purdue? South Carolina playing Iowa or Minnesota?

Wetzel joined JC Shurburtt and Mike Morgan on JC and Morgan to talk this through.
